Friends

People I like and admire. A few I have known for twenty years, a few I only know through their work. This is an old-school blogroll: names, links, and why. The list keeps growing: I add people as I go.
People I know
- Eric Lehrman. Friend since college. He's building an AI-native animation studio and I get to watch it happen.
- Josh Cogan. Emmy-winning photographer who founded Journeymen, the men's community I came up through.
- Ruben Ruckman. Architect in Culver City. We run together and he's in my short story group.
- Michael Sklar. Built Personal Cartography. We trade notes on systems and men's work.
- Paul Millerd. Wrote The Pathless Path and Good Work. I've been reading him since the Roam days, and now I'm in two of his communities.
- Tim Leake. From Tuesday Men's Club. He trains facilitators for a living and has his own thesis about how rooms work.
- Charlie Becker. Second-generation bookseller in Houston, writing weekly. A fun, amazing human being.
- Lucas Finch. In Sydney. Ran wellbeing globally at Xero, now runs In the Flow. We talk monthly.
People whose work I follow
- Venkatesh Rao. Ribbonfarm, now Contraptions. I'm just a big fan.
- Tiago Forte. Wrote Building a Second Brain. I took the course in 2021 and taught it for him a few times. The way I keep notes still comes from it.
